Loan and Real Estate Workouts

I have worked though several different credit and real estate crises resulting from inflated real estate valuations, lax underwriting, earthquakes and other natural disasters.   I have had to navigate through some pretty complicated financing structures to find the best way to structure a workout best suited to a particular situation. Today, we face a worldwide liquidity crisis that could lead to an entirely new novel breed of workouts. The tools of the trade remain intact, but the remedies might be called in question or at least slowed as legislators and courts grapple with unprecedented, unforeseeable circumstances unraveling contracts and pre-existing obligations around the world.
